Pain
So many emotions eat away at a small man
Guilt
A man permanently lopsided from leaning on others
Fear
A man who fears his past more than a loaded gun
Regret
A man who wishes to give away his own life, if only to save his own soul
Altruism
A man who hates his own reflection
Disgust
An unholy man who cleanses his sins with a razor
Sin

So much guilt is straining
It weakens the man who tries desperately to keep reality at bay
Perhaps atonement is not possible

The man craves an easy escape
He is tired
The walls close in, he is a man no longer
